MISS LACY (DRIADE)

Presented at the Milan Salon 2007, Miss Lacy is a precious armchair and shining like a jewel. The hull is pierced like a baroque lace with floral motifs. By working stainless steel expertly and perfectly, Starck wanted to pay tribute to the traditional and ancestral technique of casting and molding. This chair uses the process of "lost wax": each piece is made from a single object carved in wax. The shape-matter result is extraordinary.
