PHILIPPE STARCK GUEST OF HONOR AT THE INDIA DESIGN FORUM, IDF, TO RECEIVE “LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD”

During the India Design Forum, Philippe Starck received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in honor of his contribution to the design industry, specifically within the South Asia region.

Starck shares his ethical  and  subversive vision  of  a  fairer  planet, creating  unconventional places and objects with a purpose of being good before being beautiful. "Making  life better  for  the largest  number  of people  possible" is his absolute mission.

A philosophy shared by the IDF during the Columbo Forum with panel discussions  based around the relevance of architecture in an era of sustainability; the significance of design in rapidly urbanizing South Asia; design as a way of defining times.

The India Design Forum, launched in 2012, is the first organization in South Asia to offer a global design discourse and an international reputation as India's most prestigious and innovative design platform.
