Conceived to crown the armchair of the same name, the “PIP-e” table speaks a very rare language in which simplicity manages to avoid becoming ordinary and dull. The form derives from the repetition of one element: the pipe, which is enriched by the flaring at the join. This project demonstrates that “mass-produced” design does not necessarily have to relinquish a high degree of sophistication.
