“The elegance of the minimum comes from the intelligence of the nothing. Mies Van der Rohe said 'less is more'. Okay it is right, but why choose?
With this chair we can say "less and more."
Because we choose to make less - less style, less design, less material, less energy and finally we have more.” Philippe Starck
"With Magic Hole you can go fast to the ultimate dimension of your next nap in the garden." Ph. S

Philippe Starck’s “recherche du temps perdu” (d’un certain temps perdu) has for some time led him to rewrite the history of man and form using irony as his main design tool. Having celebrated a number of queens and princesses in light but iconic chairs, today with the MONSEIGNEUR collection Starck pays homage to a male entity: a king, a cardinal, a politician? The result is “male design”, pointed and aggressive but restrained, made of precious woods such as mahogany, dry metals such as polished steel, and especially coverings in button-backed leather.
This is a polycarbonate “jewel” chair designed by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet. It has an ergonomic seat and sleek lines, which is available in three versions (transparent, black and white) and is embellished with an iridescent top in a rainbow of colours that makes it original and versatile.
Derived from one of Kartell’s greatest bestselling products of all times, this chair is the “baby” version of the famous Louis Ghost, whose design, material, ergonomics and indestructibility it has inherited in order to teach children to use small-sized chairs but with adult forms.
Thich Nhat Hanh, contemporary Vietnamese monk, said that "Every human being is a
flower in the garden of humanity ". More simply, we work to ensure that each vessel and each object Serralunga are like flowers in the gardens and homes of humans.
